| THE "ORIGINAL" CHEDDAR BEER BREAD-5 oz.
Our cheddar beer bread continues to be a top seller.
Recipe: (1) package of the Cheddar Beer Bread mix, 12 oz. bottle of beer or ginger ale. 3 Tbsp butter.
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 F. Lightly grease standard 9x5 pan with cooking spray or butter.
2. Pour beer in a bowl. Add mix and 3 Tbsp melted butter. Quickly and firmly fold together for 20-30 seconds. Batter will be lumpy and sticky.
DO NOT OVER MIX!!
3. Spread batter in pan, filling corners. Leave lumpy and uneven.
Optional: Pour 1-2 Tbsp of butter or olive oil over top.
4. Bake at 375F for 50-55 minutes. Cool on a wire rack for 30-40 minutes before slicing.
Ingredients: Enriched bleached flour, cheddar cheese, wey powder, non-fat dry milk, hydrogenated soybean oil, sugar, salt, baking soda, onion, spices.
