| New England Clam Chowder- Package 5 oz
Directions:
4-6 cups of water brought to a boil. Add one package of the mix and whisk in briskly. For a creamier/ richer soup add a combination of cream, milk, and/ or water equal to 4-6 cups. After mixed, reduce heat, whisk periodically and let simmer for 15 minutes minimum.Add salt and pepper to taste.
Makes up to 6 cups of soup.
Variations/serving suggestions:
Makes a wonderful New England style Clam Chowder by adding drained minced clams.
Other ideas: Add one or each of the following: oysters, crab, scallops, corn, chicken, bacon, potatoes, vegetables, beef, etc. Also ideal as a sauce over meatloaf or potatoes.
